Description
Hand drawn using Prismacolor colored pencils.
Time: 8 hours.
This was my wife's Christmas present. She has always dreamed of living on the coast and opperating a lighthouse....so I embelished upon her dream.
I used 4 reference photos all from the central California coastline.
Story behind the art: Sometimes it would be nice to escape the rat race and hustle bustle of city life. But where can we escape to that is far enough away and yet close enough to enjoy a little civilized luxury?
Welcome to Dream Light. Located somewhere between Monterey and Santa Barbara on the California coast. To access this lighthouse you have to drive two miles down a private road. It has its own private beach in a sheltered cove. Your only visitors are sea lions, otters, birds, and the occasional passing humpback whale.

This looks pretty nice. I like the colours and detail..., and I love lighthouses!
